We are the 6th of April and we'vehad a Spring snow storm yesterday.
We still have a lot of snow left to melt.
117cm (46 inches) of snow fell in one week,in February here in the Gaspé Peninsula,
The backyard in February.
We had a blizzard with high winds
causing high snowdrifts with
road closures in several regions.
Huge snow drifts everywhere
including the backyard.
The strong winds from the blizzard
blew all the snow off the gallery
and some of the yard beyond,
which was a good thing.
My sister Annie and I shovelled
a path to the storage shed to
retrieve our snowshoes.
and across the other shed to get the snowshoes.
Hurray, Annie got them.
The blizzard continued on, all that week.
And we kept shovelling.
4 times in one week.
We got exercise and fresh air.
Happy Spring everyone!
The snow will eventually melt and
Spring flowers are coming.
