My sister Annie and I went for a
quick walk on the beach yesterday.
We haven't had a lot of snow so far this
Winter, but very cold temperatures.
Since the temperature was 3deg Celsius,
or 36 deg F, warmer than usual,
we decided to take a walk on the beach
We didn't stay long, the wind was very
chilly and a snow storm was in the
forecast for today.
The Baie des Chaleur
in Eastern Quebec.
We collect seaglass and
other treasures of the sea.
My sister Annie found this piece of pottery.
When we got home we realized it
has a photo on the other side...
the other side |
I do collect these holey stones
or hag rocks.
I am thankful for my new warm mittens.
the bottom and thumb opens.
Invented for phone users.
excellent for beachcombers also.
A scallop shell

A little video
Further down the beach...
A surveyor's pole.
Property disappearing
into the sea.
I don't know what this
huge wire cage is used for,
I assume it has floated
over from New Brunswick.
There are others also.
A lot of our land has disappeared
in resent years because of climate change
and rising sea waters.
Despite the cold, we enjoyed our
walk and the treasures we found.
Thanks for your visit.
Enjoy the rest of Winter.

Me parece un paseo precioso, me habría gustado estar ahí y ver esos tesoros. Besos.
