I had a quiet Christmas
My sister, Annie and I
stayed home.
We had planned to visit family in the
Eastern Townships and Montreal.
But due to my sister Carol and her
husband in the Townships,
coming down the Covid and
my son-in-law, Martin in Montreal,
having an aneurysm on his brain,
and needed time to recover,
we decided to stay home.
Martin is recovering fine.
For the second year in a row,
we had a green Christmas,
We walked on the beach
In New Carlisle, Christmas Day.
A great way to spend the day.

A nice boardwalk.
We returned to another beach,
few days later and scientists
were studying the
ocean floor. Global warming,
rising seawaters, has caused a lot
of erosion to our land.
A friend of mine, Carmen, passed
away in November.
She spent the last year of
her life in a senior care home.
She was 99 yrs. young.
She would have been 100,
today, Jan. 4th.
I did two blog posts in the past years
on Carmen's Garden. I will share
them at the end of this blog.
Her Christmas decorations were passed
down to me. She had been collecting
for many yrs. and had some beautiful
vintage things. Lucky me!
I am still going through the boxes.

with German Putz sheep.

For my Christmas tree, I used
a slim white tree, decorated
with vintage shiny-brite baubles.
A beautiful musical gift,
plays a large selection
of Christmas Carols.
A Wall tree
A twice baked cookie,
gives them a long shelf life,
making them ideal for mailing to
family and friends we couldn't visit.
