Our June vacation, June 2025,
we spent a few days in London
before starting on a 11 day cruise to Iceland.
You can view our days in London
on my previous blog here.
At Southampton, south of England.
We boarded the cruiseship and explored around.

Lots of places to relax
Our journey began and to our amazement,
we passing by the Isle of Wight in the
distance, a place of our roots.
The next afternoon we dock at Heist,Belgium
took a bus to Bruges and did some exploring.
Belgium is one of the smallest anddensely populated European country,
known for it's medical towns andRenaissance architecture.

Lots of canals
We visited the Basilica Of The Precious Blood,
and viewed the blood of God.
"The Basilica of the Holy Blood has been designated as a Jubilee Church. This means that those who are unable to make the pilgrimage to Rome can also obtain the plenary indulgence closer to home, which the Roman Catholic Church will grant in the Jubilee Year 2025 primarily to pilgrims who enter the Holy Doors in the four major Basilicas of Rome."
