Hello friends
We are already at the end of August.
Summer has gone by too fast.
We have been in a drought
with extreme heat in July
and part of August, in this
region of Eastern Quebec.
It's cooling down now.
We did have a small amount
of rain overnight, although
much more is needed.
Also Forest fires are on
the rise this year.
We have to preserve water
or our wells will go dry.
I watered my flowers from
rain water collected and
from the dehumidifiers.
Hollyhock, thinner that usual.
Beebalm
Coneflowers
Helenium
Globe Thistle

Geraniums
The grass has suffered with no rain.
These flowers below have
The Wishing Well got refreshed.
The roof painted red (from green)
and restained the bottom.
flowered all summer long.
I've never water these.
False Sunflower
That's all for now.
Thanks for your visit

Oh, my it has been very dry where you are. I used to have a well and had the same worry about it going dry, but I did like the water from it better than now with county water. Love the yellow hollyhock. Never seen one that vivid yellow. So pretty. Can always count on Rudbeckia for color no matter how dry. Zinnias here seem to not mind a bit either. I am looking forward to Autumn and winter with lots of snow, hopefully.
ReplyDeleteTodavía se ven preciosas tus flores, por aquí también está todo muy seco, ha hecho demasiado calor y ya quedan pocas flores en el jardín. Besos.
