A Snowy Christmas 2017

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas,
with Happiness
Laughter, Peace and Love.

A lot of snow has fallen
over Christmas here in Quebec.

The streets waiting to be plowed,
here in Longueuil, Quebec.

 The backyard

 Pinot made a new friend.
They love playing in the snow.

The ash trees below, will all be cut down because of
Emerald Ash Borer disease.

A green beetle native to Asia is
highly destructive to the ash tree.

The disease was detected here in 2012.
The beautiful parks in this region mostly
consist of ash trees.
It's a sad situation to see these
trees go.

The beetle attacks the bark of the tree.
The red paint on the trunks indicates the tree is dead.
