Easter 2018

I hope you all had a Happy Easter.

I spent Easter visiting my sister Carol,
and my daughter's family near Montreal.

On Saturday, we had supper at my sister Carol's.

We had turkey and all the trimmings.

A feast

I brought the dessert.
Blueberry Raspberry and Rhubarb Crisp.
(sorry wrong photo)
I seem to be missing photos.

Easter Day,
I had lunch
with my daughter's family
at her friends home in Longueuil.
The couple in the middle.
Donna and Sylvain.

Lots of beautiful delicious food.

Octopus, not my favorite.
It was all eaten. 😝

We had a treat for dessert.

We had a "Bake Off" between two cooks,
 Kate and Suzanne.
(photo missing)

Pouding Chômeur - Poor Man's Pudding
A Quebec traditional dessert.

On the plate,  the left is Suzanne's.
The one on the right is Kate's.
Maple ice-cream in the middle.

This one below was baked by Kate.
Oven Baked 45 mins.
Kate's is made with the cake batter
on top of the syrup mix, during baking
it seeps to the bottom, like magic.
Kate is only 15 yrs. old
and already a great cook.
.

Next one is by Suzanne.
Crock Pot for 2 hrs.
She made hers with the cake batter on top,
and the maple syrup mixture,  on the bottom.

They were both very very delicious.
They both won.

Also a Egg Hunt
for the children.

We were entertained by my Grandkids,
Sabrina and Mathieu at the Keyboard.

Carol's Bunnies

Happy Spring!!

Thanks for your visit xo
