Chinese Fans ~ Happy Chinese New Year.

Most of Canada is experiencing
a major snow storm today.
Between shovelling snow,
and cleaning of my car,
I put together this blog.
Anyone in the storm,
stay warm and safe.

Chinese New Year
is a major holiday in China
and other Asian countries.

The date for Chinese New Year
 changes each year.
It falls between January 21st and
 February 20th.

This year it is on February 5th.
Celebrations take place for 15 days.

I am sharing my sister Annie's
Chinese fan collection.

This one is my favourite.
Anything green, is my favorite.

Wow... So gorgeous, and elegant.

Beautiful detail!

 All beaded

Soft colours.

This one makes me think of a Monet painting.

Dolphins

A Classy Blue.

This tiny one below was a gift, Anne got in a Christmas Cracker at a New Year's Celebration, while visiting her daughter's Linda and family,  and it inspired her to collect these beautiful fans.

A beautiful blend of colours.

I placed them on a table to take the photos.

All folded up
A collection that doesn't take up a lot of space.

Thanks for your visit xo
