A Surprise In The Mail.

I was surprised to open my mail this week, and
find these beautiful ribbons from a country fair
that I entered in August past.

This year, because of Covid-19, most
public events have been cancelled
in our province.

Brome Fair hosted a "Cyber Fair",
open to everyone.
Thanks to a friend, Sophie Giroux
who encouraged me to enter.

We could enter by sending
 a photos in any category.
of
Livestock and Horticulture.

I entered 2 categories in the Horticulture Class.

1. Wild Flower Arrangement In A Vase.

Milkweed, goldenrod, Queen-Ann Lace, pink and
white musk, daisies, tansy, vetch and bluebells.

2nd Prize

2. Garden Freak, natural state.
entered this crazy carrot,
"Carrots on the run"

First Prize

Brome Agricultural Fair has
been in existence since 1856.

Thanks to the Brome Fair
and all the volunteers who
organized this fun event
in this pandemic year,
a year of change.

Thanks for visiting my blog.xo
